If you were granted a long stay student visa or your visa has the mention E1 VLSTS VALIDER EN LIGNE  , you must apply on the online government platform and obtain the visa validation certificate.

You must validate your visa no later than 3 months following your arrival in France.

This replaces the OFII procedure.

Visas with the mention E1 VLSTS VALIDER EN LIGNE are the same as R431-16 13.  These visas must be validated online.

In order to apply on the dedicated online government platform  https://administration-etrangers-en-france.interieur.gouv.fr/particuliers/#/,

you only need your passport and a bank card (for a €50 payment).

You will not be requested to upload any documents but you will have to provide the following information:

- visa #

- start and end date of the visa

- issue date of the visa

- visa type

- date of arrival in France (consistent with the airport stamp in your passport)

- marital status

- full address in France

Once the online registration is complete, you will be provided a visa validation attestation which you have to upload on your Myregistrar intranet

To start the application go to https://administration-etrangers-en-france.interieur.gouv.fr/particuliers/#/

The regulatory reference for E1 VLSTS visas is : R431-16 13
