If you live in one of the EEF countries (see #1), you will need to complete two applications: the first on the EEF platform and the second on the France Visas platform. Make sure to start the process as soon as you are admitted and no later than three months before your expected arrival date.

ETUDES EN FRANCE:

1. Before your first log-in, create a personal account and register on the “Etudes en France” section of the Campus France website for your country of residence. See the list of countries where there is a Campus France procedure

Refer to the attached guide for detailed steps.

2. You will receive an email "Account creation confirmation" with a link to activate your account.

3. Once your account is activated, log in to your Campus France portal. Please read the instructions provided in the User Guide available online carefully.

4. On the Home Page, click on "Start application for Student Visa at Campus France (Mandatory pre-consular process)." You should have already received your admission letter from the Admissions Office at ESSEC.

5. Complete your application and fill in the required fields. Enter the name of the institution welcoming you to France: ESSEC – Ecole Supérieure des Sciences Economiques et Commerciales (the complete name of ESSEC) and the academic program to which you have been admitted.

6. Upload all requested documents, such as your official letter of admission to ESSEC. Ensure the letter includes your full name as it appears in your passport, and the exact start and end dates of your academic program. Name your supporting documents clearly and be careful with the format of each file.

7. Review your entries and submit. Your application will then be sent to Campus France.

8. At the end of the procedure, you’ll be able to download an attestation “Studies in France” (“Etudes en France”). Save and print this attestation, as it will be required by the French Consulate when you submit your application for a French Visa. Depending on your country, this attestation may also be provided at your Campus France office.

9. You will receive notifications in your personal inbox regarding the processing fees and the interview appointment.

FRANCE VISAS:

Once your campus France application is complete, make sure to create a personal account on the France visas platform.

After completing your profile, the platform will guide you through the next steps, including:

    Document submission

Scheduling a visa appointment at the French consulate or an intermediary (such as VFS)

Important: If you are residing in a country other than your country of origin, please let us know to avoid confusion and delays.

Example: Li is a Chinese national, born in Beijing, living in Brazil. We notify Campus France in Beijing and get their reply that they have no trace of Li's application, hence some delay.
