PERSONAL DATA PROTECTION

• The personal data collected in the online registration and re-registration forms is processed automatically in compliance with European Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of April 27, 2016, on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data, and the French "Informatique, fichiers et libertés" (Data Processing, Data Files, and Civil Liberties) Act No. 78-17 of January 6, 1978, as amended.
  
  
• The data controller is the Director General of the ESSEC Group (D G D P [at] e s s e c . e d u).

• The purpose of processing this data is for registration or re-registration in an ESSEC Group program.
  
  
• All responses marked with an asterisk (*) are mandatory to complete the registration or re-registration process.
  
  
• The recipients of the processed information, within the limits of their respective responsibilities and solely for the performance of their duties, are: internal departments of the ESSEC Group, social security organizations and student mutual insurance companies, the Student Life Observatory, the CEREQ or any other public statistical service, organizations distributing financial aid for studies (information related to courses attended and attendance), certain student associations, and the Alumni Association, with the authorization of the ESSEC Group General Management (identity, institution and program, year of study).
  
  
• This data may be transferred to a third country outside the European Union under appropriate safeguards, the details of which are available from the ESSEC Group Data Protection Officer (D P D [at] e s s e c . f r).
  
  
• The data is retained for the entire duration of your studies within the ESSEC Group.
  
  
• You have the right to request access to your personal data, its rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, and the right to object to processing. You also have the right to inform us of your wishes regarding the handling of your data after your death. You may exercise these rights by contacting the ESSEC Group Data Protection Officer by email (D P D [at] e s s e c . f r).
  
  
• You may object to the disclosure of your personal data to student associations and the Alumni Association by contacting the ESSEC Group Data Protection Officer by email (D P D [at] e s s e c . f r).
  
  
• If you believe that your data rights are not being respected, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Commission nationale de l’informatique et des libertés (French Data Protection Authority) (CNIL).
