IMPORTANT: The minimum duration of a study or internship mobility is 2 months (60 days) and the maximum duration is 12 months (360 days) per cycle of studiesYou can then benefit from several Erasmus grants within the 12-month limit.


1) STUDY MOBILITY (Exchange/DD)


You are a GBBA or GEMSc student and you are going on an exchange or DD in one of the Erasmus+ programme countries.


No need to inform the ESSEC Erasmus coordinator about your mobility project.

Your Study abroad coordinator will send the list of all Erasmus outgoing students to the Erasmus coordinator who will in turn send you the necessary documents to open your Erasmus file.

- You will be contacted via ESSEC Registrar in May/June if the start of your mobility is in August, September or October

- You will be contacted via ESSEC Registrar in October if the start of your mobility is in January, February, March or April


You will find below the basic amounts fixed by Essec for a study mobility:



- A financial 250€/month-top-up can be allocated in the following cases / Un complément financier de 250 € mensuel pourra être attribué dans les cas suivants :

  • Student with disabilities or with a long duration disease (LDD) / Etudiant en situation de handicap ou d'Affection de Longue Durée (ALD)
  • Student with a grant based on social criteria levels 6 and 7 / Etudiant boursier sur critères sociaux échelons 6 et 7
  • Student belonging to a household with a CAF family quotient less than of equal to 551€ / Etudiant appartenant à un foyer dont le Quotient familial CAF est inférieur ou égal à 551€

- A financial 50€ top-up can be allocated in case of green travel / Un complément financier de 50 € pourra être attribué si utilisation d'un moyen de transport écoresponsable


2) INTERNSHIP MOBILITY


You intend doing an internship in one of the Erasmus+ programme countries (see Ernest FAQ: The Erasmus Program 2021-27 - Eligible Countries)?


You must inform the ESSEC Erasmus coordinator via the Ernest platform about your project AT LEAST 1 MONTH BEFORE THE START DATE OF YOUR MOBILITY via https://www.officeoftheregistrar.essec.edu/ernest 


a) Programme countries:

You will find below the basic amounts fixed by Essec for an internship mobility in a programme country:



- A financial 250€/month-top-up can be allocated in the following cases / Un complément financier de 250 € mensuel pourra être attribué dans les cas suivants :

PLEASE NOTE that you can also be eligible for an Erasmus+ grant in a partner country, ONLY for an INTERNSHIP mobility and on ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA :


1)
- Students with disabilities or with a long duration disease (LDD) 
- Students with a grant based on social criteria levels 6 and 7  
- Students belonging to a household with a CAF family quotient less than or equal to 551 € 

2)
Students with a grant based on social criteria levels 0bis to 5
Students with a project related to social/civic engagement (for exemple, humanitarian), sustainable development and/or unpaid internship.


3)

Other students (if there is budget left)

Summary of the Erasmus procedure

Step 1: To start the procedure the ESSEC Erasmus Coordinator will send you an information email and an application form that you must complete within the deadline.


Without this document your application file will not be opened.


Once engaged in the Erasmus process you must validate 2 steps until the closure of your file. The ESSEC Erasmus Coordinator will send you an email for each step explaining which documents you must complete to validate the step.


Step 2: Confirmation of start of mobility

Step 3: Confirmation of end of mobility


Payment of the scholarship


After validating step 2 the Erasmus Coordinator will request:

1st payment (70% of the scholarship)


After validating step 3 the Erasmus Coordinator will request:

2nd & final payment (30% remaining) 


IMPORTANT:  

 

BY SIGNING THE ERASMUS GRANT AGREEMENT, GENERAL CONDITIONS AND STUDENT CHARTER YOU COMMIT YOURSELF TO COMPLY WITH THE ERASMUS PROCEDURE. IF YOU DO NOT VALIDATE STEP 2 (END OF MOBILITY) YOU WILL HAVE TO REIMBURSE THE 1ST PAYMENT (70%).
