Whether it be to open a bank account and/or take out a student loan, ESSEC has developed a partnership with major French bank branches located in Cergy - LCL, BNP Paribas, Société Générale, Caisse d'Epargne IDF (CEIDF) - and an online bank: BRED Espace Grandes Ecoles, to give you exceptional terms and conditions.
The first advantage for French nationals over 18, enrolled at ESSEC Business School : no guarantor is required (except for BNP, see conditions in branch).
These partnerships have only been signed with the bank agencies near ESSEC, that is in Cergy. Your local branch may not offer the same terms.
These agencies also offer the opportunity to foreign students admitted to ESSEC Business School to open a bank account. However they are no longer authorized to do so prior to students'arrival in France.
Please note : non French nationals or French not residing in France are required by French law to have a guarantor in France with sufficient financial coverage when applying for a student loan. Depending on the bank, this guarantor must meet different criteria. Enquire at each of the banks you'll contact.
