Please note that the Registrar's Office does not handle any requests related to CAF or APL (housing subsidies). Nevertheless, we can provide you with some useful information.
Since July 1, 2026, the eligibility criteria for APL have changed for certain students. This change mainly affects students who hold a long-stay visa or a residence permit for their studies in France.
Who is eligible?
Students who are nationals of a European Union member state
Students who are nationals of an European Economic Area member state
Swiss students
CROUS scholarship holders
Student apprentices
Regarding students holding a visa or residence permit, they are only eligible for APL if they are student apprentices or CROUS scholarship holders. Otherwise, APL payments ceased on July 1, 2026, and they are no longer eligible for this financial aid. For more information, please visit the CAF website.
Are you experiencing an issue with your APL application? If you live in one of the Alegessec residences, please contact their team at alegessec-gestion@essec.edu. If you reside elsewhere, you can book an appointment at the Welcome Desk:
