[Prêt][Mineur] I'm a minor student. May I take a loan in France?

Modified on Tue, 21 Apr at 4:48 PM

Minor students enrolled at ESSEC Business School may still borrow from ESSEC partner banks, in particular from LCL in Cergy

Reminder : non French students are required to have a guarantor in France. See our FAQ on our partner banks.

Once students have completed their enrollment and been granted access to MyRegistrar via the email "Enrollment file completed", they must upload in MyRegistrar their bank attestation bearing:

- the student's name

- the program of enrollment

- the amount of the loan

- the starting date of the loan

- the bank's commitment to disburse the funds to ESSEC  to pay for the student's tuition when student turns 18.

In case students cancel their loans when they attain their majority at the age of 18, they remain liable for the amount of their tuition and must pay by all possible means. Defaulting students are subject to penalties and sanctions as described in their enrollment contract.
