Study contract and electronic signature

Modified on Thu, 23 Apr at 2:38 PM

During your online enrollment, you and eventually your financial guarantor will be asked to electronically sign your study contract via the app Docusign.

In case you are a minor student (under 18), it is imperative that one of your parents or your legal guardian be your financial guarantor.

The financial guarantor must be a physical individual, whether a relative or not.

If, as a French national, you take out a study loan from ESSEC partner banks in Cergy that does not require any guarantor, then the financial guarantor designated in your file will simply be a point of contact.

See below the screenshot of the mail you'll be sent by Docusign.

To allow each person to sign the study contract sent by the App Docusign, each person must have his/her own email address.

Consequently, students must not enter in their personal information their parents' email address. On the other hand, parents must not either have their son's or daughter's email address in their personal information.
