Why Don’t I See My Bank Transfer Immediately in "Payments"?

Modified on Wed, 19 Nov, 2025 at 4:30 PM

Bank transfers do not appear instantly as "registered payments" on your ESSEC account statement (available in MyRegistrar) for the following reasons:

  1. Processing Delay: Transfers take at least 24 hours to process between banks, and longer if sent from abroad or a country with exchange regulations.
  2. Manual Registration: ESSEC’s Student Accounting team must identify and credit each transfer to the correct student account. Always include your ESSEC ID (B00******) in the transfer details to ensure proper allocation.

Once processed, payments will appear as "registered payments" on your account statement, dated according to when ESSEC received the funds. The average processing time is up to one week.

How to Verify Your Payment

  • Download your ESSEC account statement from MyRegistrar (under My Documents), available 24/7.
  • Your payment should no longer appear as "expected payment" but as "registered payment" once processed.

Note: If this is your first year, ensure you’ve completed your enrollment file and received the confirmation email "Enrollment file completed" to access MyRegistrar.

Reminder: You may make multiple bank transfers, provided the full annual tuition is paid by the deadline. For more details, see the [FAQ about Payment Dates].
