Apprentice Grant – Val d’Oise Department (€230)

The Val d’Oise Department offers a one-time €230 grant to apprentices, based on established criteria and paid during the school year. This grant is supplementary to regional and local aid programs.

What is it?

The Val d’Oise Departmental Council provides a €230 grant to eligible apprentices, paid in a single installment for the school year.

Who is eligible?

To qualify, applicants must:

• Be under 25 years old as of January 1st of the application year,
• Be fiscally domiciled in Val d’Oise,
• Hold a valid apprenticeship contract (CFA, universities, private schools, etc.),
• Meet the income criteria set by the Departmental Assembly.

How to apply?

Applications for the 2023-2024 school year must be submitted using the official form, either:

• Digitally via the online platform (attach required documents in PDF),
• By mail (download the paper form and send it with copies of required documents to bourseapprentis@valdoise.fr or by post).

Required documents:

• A signed copy of the apprenticeship contract,
• A complete tax notice (4 pages) for the current year (N) on the previous year’s income (N-1), showing the apprentice as a dependent (if applicable). If you are fiscally independent, ensure you are listed as a "major child" on the tax return. If not, submit proof of tax attachment,
• A copy of the family record book or a birth certificate for all dependents listed on the tax notice,
• A valid RIB (bank details) in the name of the beneficiary or legal guardian (for minors),
• A copy of the beneficiary’s ID (national ID card, passport, or residence permit),
• Any additional documents as specified in the eligibility criteria.

Note: Supporting documents must be submitted in PDF or JPEG format.

Application period (2023-2024):

• February 5, 2024 – March 27, 2024 (postmark date applies for mail submissions).

Processing timeline:

• February 12 – April 5, 2024: Verification of dossier compliance,
• From April 8, 2024: Instruction of applications begins. Applicants can track their request online after account activation,
• Processing times may vary.

Payment:

The €230 grant is paid in a single bank transfer to the beneficiary or legal guardian. Notification of approval will be sent by email.
