Overview


Since 1990, the OVE (National Student Life Observatory) has organized an annual competition to encourage research conducted by students on topics related to student living conditions.


Who is eligible to participate?


Master's and doctoral students who have successfully defended a research paper or doctoral thesis on a topic related to student living and studying conditions.


What are the prizes for the winners?


Master's Prize: €3,000

Doctoral Prize: €3,000


How to participate?


To participate in the competition, you must complete the application form and return it with a request for acknowledgment of receipt to OVE electronically at communication.ove@cnous.fr before January 31st.


Documents to be attached to the form:


  • The dissertation or thesis (preferably in PDF format)
  • An abstract of the dissertation or thesis of 2500 to 3500 characters including spaces (preferably in PDF format)
  • The supervisor's report or the thesis defense report
  • The dissertation grade or thesis distinction awarded


Calendar and application form


Applications open from October 1st.

Application deadline: January 31st.
