Scholarships granted by the French government
Scholarship programme "grandes écoles"
This scholarship programme, which is handled by Campus France and the French Institute in Tunisia, is made for Tunisian students who attended a preparatory class ("classe préparatoire") in Tunisia or in France and who are now admitted in a French Grande école such as ESSEC.
Costs covered by the scholarship:
This scholarship includes:
- a €860 monthly allowance,
- payment for social security and additional health insurance ("mutuelle").
The scholarship is granted for 36 months.
Application requirements:
To be eligible, applicant must:
- be a Tunisian citizen. Students with both Tunisian and French citizenships are not eligible,
- have passed ESSEC entrance exams,
- have been last academic year...
- in 2nd year in a preparatory class ("classe préparatoire") in Tunisia,
- in a preparatory class ("classe préparatoire") in France.
Application submission and timetable:
Applications file must be printed out and filled out in two paper copies. Supporting documents must also be printed twice.

L'Institut français de Tunisie insists that incomplete applications or late applications will not be proccessed.
Applications are generally to be submitted from mid-July to mid-August.
